CLASS REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS: All classes, workshops and open studio time require pre-registration. Payment in full is due no later than the first class session. We encourage you to sign up early.

Classes may be canceled due to low enrollment. In the event a class is canceled for low enrollment, full refunds will be issued. To cancel a class, please contact [email protected] or 269.552.9802.
If you should cancel your class registration for any reason, a registration fee of $10 is withheld from all refunds. Cancellations received five days (or more) prior to the start date of class will receive a full refund minus the $10 cancellation fee. Cancellations received four days (or less) prior to the start date of class, will result in a 50% refund minus the $10 registration fee. Cancellations received within 24 hours of a class or after the class start date and time will result in a forfeit of all class tuition. If Glass Art Kalamazoo cancels the class for any reason, full refunds will be issued. A $30 returned check fee will be charged by Glass Art Kalamazoo for non-sufficient funds checks. Please note that Summer Camp and Group Events have a different cancellation policy.

CLASS CANCELLATIONS DUE TO WEATHER: Glass Art Kalamazoo rarely cancels classes or closes for weather. If a class or workshop is canceled, we will notify the enrolled students by phone as soon as possible. The decision to cancel evening classes or workshops will be made by 3 p.m. and will be listed on our Facebook page and website as well as WWMT Channel 3. When possible, classes will be rescheduled. If classes can’t be rescheduled, you will receive a refund in the form of a gift certificate.

CLASS MAKEUP POLICY: Due to the sequential and skill-building nature of our Intro and Essentials classes, missing days is discouraged. We understand that some circumstances are unavoidable. We will do our best to accommodate, but do not guarantee class makeup opportunities. If there is space available in another section of an Intro or Essentials class that fits in your schedule, you may attend that class with the permission of the Studio Manager.

SUMMER CAMP CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: If you should cancel your camp registration for any reason, a registration fee of $10 is withheld from all refunds. Cancellations received two (2) weeks prior to the start date of camp, will result in a 50% refund minus the $10 registration fee. Cancellations received after two (2) weeks prior to the start of camp will result in the forfeit of all camp tuition. If Glass Art Kalamazoo cancels the camp for any reason, full refunds will be issued.

GROUP EVENT CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: A 25% Deposit is due at the time of booking to officially reserve the studio. If the client should cancel the reservation less than two weeks (14 calendar days) prior to the start date of the event, it will result in the forfeit of the 25% deposit. If Glass Art Kalamazoo cancels the event for any reason, full refunds will be issued including the 25% deposit.

STUDENT DISMISSAL POLICY: If a student’s behavior is deemed to be rude, disruptive, or inappropriate, the instructor maintains the right to dismiss the person from the class with a warning. Students suspected of any form of substance abuse, including but not limited to alcohol or drugs, will be removed from the premises, given a warning and not be allowed to return without approval by the Executive Director and Studio Manager. In the event of subsequent behavior problems or suspicion of substance abuse, the person will be dismissed from the Glass Art Center without benefit of class refund or access to further programming.
