Become a Member

As a member of GAK, you will become a part of our glass story and help us to keep glass art alive in Kalamazoo. Members are essential to the work that we do at Glass Art Kalamazoo. They help provide the foundation for our programs, services, and outreach. There are a variety of yearly membership levels, from $25–$500. GAK members save 10% on classes and workshops, receive invitations to members-only events, get first notice of posted classes, and have access to rent GAK studios and equipment.

Membership Levels

We have six convenient levels of membership. Memberships are effective the date you join and valid for one year.

  • Student Membership - $25 (Must provide copy of high school or college ID)
  • Senior Membership (Ages 65+) - $25
  • Individual Membership - $35
  • Family Membership - $60
  • Patron Membership - $250
  • Corporate Membership - $500

Membership Benefits

Your membership directly supports our programming at Glass Art Kalamazoo, allowing us to provide exceptional experiences in glass art to our local community. In addition to the warm, fuzzy feeling you get inside, your membership grants you the following perks:
  • 10% discount on all classes and workshops (not including “Walk-In” or Private classes) in our Glass Blowing, Lampworking, Kiln Fusing, and Cold Working Studios.
  • 5% discount on all purchases from our Reflections Gallery and Glass Art Kalamazoo Gift Shop.
  • Exclusive invites to Members Mixer Events held throughout the year.
  • First Alert notification when we add new classes to the calendar, host visiting artist workshops, or plan special community events.
  • Access to studio rentals in our Hot Shop, Cold Shop, Lampworking, and Kiln Fusing studios. (must have Studio Manager approval before renting).

Patron Membership: In addition to benefits listed above, Patron members also receive the gift of an original glass art piece designed by our artists.

Corporate Membership: Corporate members receive one complimentary family membership, and 10% off a private class or event with attendance of up to 15 people.
