2-Day Lampworking Summer Camp (August 1 & 3)

2 day Lampworking Summer Camp for Kids.

Day 1: Tuesday August 1 (1:00-4:00pm),

Day 2: Thursday August 3 (1:00–4:00pm).

Our popular Summer Glass Camps are back! In this 2-day lampworking camp, students will explore the world of borosilicate glass with our experienced instructors. The camp will cover the basics of lampworking techniques as we learn to bend, shape, and melt glass color rods over a gas torch. Additionally, students will be introduced to the scientific concepts that have shaped modern glass making and the history of glass art and craft in America. Each camper will create 4-6 different projects including pendants and sculptural figurines.

Suitable for ages between 12-18. No previous experience necessary. Classes may be cancelled due to low enrollment. See our full Cancellation Policy HERE.

$200 per camper, includes both dates.

• Masks are welcomed in the studios, but not required.
• Class size is limited to adhere to social distancing.
• Hand-washing sinks and hand sanitizer stations are available throughout the studios.
• Each camp session includes all materials, snacks, and beverages. Lunch not included.
