Kiln Fusing Essentials (October 10, 17 & 24)

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Students must have completed one “Make It!” Kiln Fusing class or equivalent experience.

Kiln Fusing Studio.

This is a 3-day workshop:

Thursday, October 10 (5:30-8:30pm),

Thursday, October 17 (5:30-8:30pm),

Thursday, October 24 (5:30-8:30pm).

Learn the fundamentals behind forming glass in the kiln, beginning with the basics. In this 3-part course, you will learn studio safety, glass compatibility, kiln firing schedules, slumping techniques, color applications and design methods. Each student will make a number of kiln fused projects as they learn the process.

 

 

 

Open to ages 12 and up. PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Students must have completed one “Make It!” Kiln Fusing class or equivalent experience. All tools, materials, and finished project included with ticket price. Projects will be ready for pickup 5-7 days after completion. See our full Registration and Cancellation Policies HERE.
