4-Day Combo Glass Camp (July 29-August 1)

Glass Blowing, Kiln Fusing, and Torch Working Studio.

This is a 4 Day Class:

Day 1: Monday, July 29 (9:00am–4:00pm),

Day 2: Tuesday, July 30 (9:00am–4:00pm),

Day 3: Wednesday, July 31 (9:00am–4:00pm),

Day 4: Thursday, August 1 (9:00am–4:00pm).

Our popular Summer Glass Camps are back! In this 4-day combination glass camp, students will learn the tools, equipment, and basic techniques of glass blowing, torch working, and kiln fusing. They will work side-by-side with our talented artist instructors, and also create collaboratively with their peers. Each student will create a number of projects including paperweights, ornament/globes, small bowls, necklace pendants, sculptural figurines, sun catchers, dichroic pieces, and more. Additionally, students will be introduced to the scientific concepts that have shaped modern glass making and the history of glass art and craft in America.

Open to ages 12-18. No previous experience necessary. Classes may be cancelled due to low enrollment. See our full Cancellation Policy HERE.

$550 per camper, includes all four dates. 10% discount for GAK Members.

• Student artwork will be displayed in our studios during the Friday, August 2 Art Hop.
• Each camp session includes all materials, snacks, and beverages. Lunch not included.
