We can connect you with someone that can create your glass art vision. Once you are connected with the local member artist, GAK is not liable for work produced by the artist. All contact, payment, and pickup are taken care of by the artist. What Is Your Timeline?

Commissioning a work of art or many works of art can take some time. Begin the process early and communicate your timeline clearly for best results. Rush jobs are typically higher priced.

What Is Your Budget?

Knowing what you’re willing to spend on a piece of art is extremely helpful in determining what the artist can produce. Many artists need to work in the cost of materials, rental of equipment, and base hourly rate when determining price. Having a ballpark figure in mind before meeting with the artist will help with determining the parameters of the project.

What Would You Like To Make?

Having an idea (or even a example or picture) of what you would like the artist to make is helpful. Knowing the dimensions, shape, thickness, etc. can accelerate the process and help define your final project.
Keeping these three things in mind when commissioning artwork will help you get the one-of-a-kind piece of art you desire.
