THIS IS THE 2ND INSTALLMENT IN THE LAMPWORKING ESSENTIALS SERIES. COMPLETION OF LAMPWORKING ESSENTIALS 1 OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. STUDENT MUST BE 21 OR OLDER.
Over the course of 3 weeks, continue to build on previously learned fundamentals of borosilicate lampworking. You will learn fundamental techniques in manipulating tubing including: pulling points, seals, restrictions, blowing a bubble, popping holes, and basic color work. The instructor will also provide one-on-one troubleshooting. On day one you’ll learn how to blow bubbles and manipulate blown glass. Day 2 you’ll learn how to add color to your blown work and start the pipe making process. Day 3 will be making simple pipes.
All tools, materials, and finished project included with ticket price.
Projects created in our studios will be ready for pickup 5-7 days after completion.
