This is a two-day class on the dates below!

Tuesday, March 19: 5:30-8:30pm
This class will serve as the official training course to join the Journey Beads volunteer bead makers group. The first class session will begin with a brief lecture about the program and the children we hope to benefit through our service, then students will begin their own journey into glass bead making with the help of our skilled and tenured instructors. Essential skills and techniques will be addressed with the goal of becoming competent in bead-making. Completing this course will allow you to volunteer with the Journey Beads program.
Day 1: March 12, 5:30-8:30pm — Introduction to the program and bead making processes. Topics will include the Journey Beads mission, Bead quality control and its importance to beneficiaries, intro to safety, tools, and equipment.
Day 2: March 19, 5:30-8:30pm — This session will pick up where the first leaves off, hands on practice and increasingly advanced techniques will be demonstrated.
Each ticket purchased grants you entry to both dates: Tuesday, March 12 and Tuesday, March 19
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Students must have completed one “Make It!” Beads class or equivalent experience.
Students must be 12 years or older. Students under 14 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
All tools, materials, and finished project included with ticket price.
Projects created in our studios will be ready for pickup 5-7 days after completion.
