ABOUT US

Glass Art Kalamazoo is a community-based nonprofit organization founded in 2002 by a local group of glass artists. Its mission is to enrich the community by providing exceptional experiences in glass art. Classes are offered in glass blowing, lampworking, bead making, cold working, and kiln fusing. While much of that work is done in its studios at the Park Trade Center on West Kalamazoo Avenue, Glass Art Kalamazoo also works with schools, nonprofit groups and businesses to educate the community in the glass arts.

We believe that art in any form nourishes the heart and soul.

Non-Discrimination Policy: Glass Art Kalamazoo will not discriminate on the basis of religion (creed), race, color, national origin, sex, disability, age, marital status, height, weight, arrest record, genetic information, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of its activities or operations. These activities include, but are not limited to, hiring and firing of staff, selection of volunteers and vendors, and provision of services. We are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all members of our staff, volunteers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
