MORE ABOUT THE JOURNEY BEADS PROGRAM:
Every child diagnosed with cancer embarks on a journey shaped by struggles and triumphs. Bronson Children’s Hospital and Glass Art Kalamazoo have developed the Journey Beads program to give courage to pediatric patients as they experience the struggles and triumphs of their disease. Journey Beads symbolize significant milestone in a child’s cancer treatment. Each bead is a celebration of progress and a powerful story telling tool.
This year Bronson has requested more beads than ever before, and the brave children undergoing treatment need our help. It is our goal to increase the Journey Beads volunteer pool in order to meet the rising need and develop the scope of our programs. We hope you will join us for this great opportunity to learn about glass art and help our community!
