1 day (3 hours) Kiln Fusing Summer Camp for Kids
Popular Glass Art Kalamazoo Summer Glass Camps are back with a different and more in depth concept.
In this 3-hour camp, the students will explore the techniques of kiln fusing with our experienced instructors. The camp will cover the basics of glass cutting, shaping, fusing and beyond. Students will create multiple objects like sun catchers, bowls, etc. Additionally, students will be introduced to the scientific concepts that have shaped modern glass making and the history of glass art and craft in America.
No previous experience necessary!
Suitable for ages between 9-18.
Student work will be displayed in our gallery during Art Hop on Friday the 7th 5-9 pm.
Cost: $70 per camper. Includes all materials, snacks and beverages, and an official summer camp T-shirt. 10% Member Discount for current Glass Art Kalamazoo members.

Two sessions to choose from:
9 am – 12 pm or 1 pm – 4 pm
The finished pieces will be ready for pickup on Tuesday August 11th.
