The safety and comfort of our staff, students, and customers is our top priority. Based on the recent public health order issued by Kalamazoo County Health & Human Services, we are again requiring that all students, instructors, and staff wear a mask in our studios, regardless of vaccination status. We have also limited class sizes to adhere to social distancing, and instituted a rigorous cleaning and sanitizing schedule for all of our studios, equipment, and tools.
Also, if you are feeling unwell, please reschedule your class or visit for a time when you are feeling better. At this time, we are applying more liberal rescheduling terms for all classes, events, and activities to provide students greater flexibility in making decisions that are best for them, without incurring financial penalties. Glass Art Kalamazoo will continue to observe social distancing and clean frequently to help keep everyone safe.

MORE ABOUT JOURNEY BEADS:
Every child diagnosed with cancer embarks on a journey shaped by struggles and triumphs. Bronson Children’s Hospital and Glass Art Kalamazoo have developed the Journey Beads program to give courage to pediatric patients as they experience the struggles and triumphs of their disease. Journey Beads symbolize significant milestone in a child’s cancer treatment. Each bead is a celebration of progress and a powerful story telling tool.
This year Bronson has requested more beads than ever before, and the brave children undergoing treatment need our help. It is our goal to increase the Journey Beads volunteer pool in order to meet the rising need and develop the scope of our programs. We hope you will join us for this great opportunity to learn about glass art and help our community!
